Chapter 18. ANNEXATION

§ 18-2. Recommendation by planning and zoning commission.

Prior to consideration by the city council of any proposed annexation ordinance, the planning and zoning commission of the city shall submit to the city council its written recommendation from its public hearing for or against annexation, setting forth the reasons upon which such recommendation is based as reflected by the minutes of the meeting or meetings at which such proposed annexation was considered and voted upon by the commission.
